After Forfeiting Several Properties, Allison Madueke Moves To a Small Flat In London

She has also been forced to forfeit about N7.6 billion allegedly hidden in a Nigerian bank There are reports by online media, The Cable, that former minister of petroleum, Diezani Alison

Madueke, has moved into a small London flat after losing several properties to the UK and Nigeria government in an ongoing fraud case against her. 


The flat rented by the ex-minister is reportedly located in the same building as her apartment recently seized along with other properties by the UK government.

Recall that NAIJ.com earlier reported that the United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency (NCA) froze a £10million (over N4billion) worth of London property allegedly bought for Alison-Madueke.

According to the report, two properties at Regents Park in London, along with one in Buckinghamshire, have now been frozen based on the request of Nigerian authorities.

Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reiterated its resolve to follow the rule of law as a group, “Concerned Nigerians”, led a protest to its headquarters, calling for repatriation of Alison-Madueke.

The anti-graft agency promised to do everything within its power to get judgement against the ex-minister.
