Timaya on Friday, September 29, 2017, took to his Instagram page to post a video to counter the statement made over a week ago by Eedris Abdulkareem who shaded some of Nigerian artists.

I tried so hard to resist responding to an EMPTY BARREL...But i am sick and tired of all this misconceptions...Sometimes you just need to tell people the HARD TRUTH. FUCK U EEDRIS ABDÜLKARİM.

He wrote on the video caption,

Timaya Blamed Eedris Abdulkareem for not recognizing him when he was his backup, artist. He further reminded him of how he used his own money to pay for his Tfare to perform with him back in the days. He also reminded Eedris Abdulkareem that 2Face is still doing it big, hence he should go and work and stop blaming people.
