Buhari Is Responsible For Biafra Agitation Ohaneze

It also said the current hate speech in the country started from his government.

Igbo socio-political organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari is responsible for agitation in the southeast and not Igbo leaders.

President Buhari had during his Independence Day speech expressed disappointment in some southeast leaders over the agitation by ''hot headed'' youths from the region.

Ohanaeze, in reacting to Buhar ’s speech, said the president should be held responsible because he implements policies against the Igbo people.

Reports have it that Uche Achi Okpaga, the group national publicity secretary, who made the comment also declared that Buhari started hate speech in Nigeria.

Okpaga said: ''The issue is that the Buhari administration has always found one excuse or the other for the challenges facing the country.

''They have never taken responsibility before (because) they were not prepared to rule Nigeria.
