Super Eagles boss has officially signed a new two-year deal with NFF
Rohr was appointed Super Eagles boss in August 2016 with the mandate to take Nigeria to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Following Super Eagles fine run in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, the German coach has been rewarded with a new contract.
Although Rohr’s new contract has been public knowledge for a while, the 64-year-old officially signed the new deal at a press conference held at the Eko Hotels and Suites on Wednesday, January 17.
The Super Eagles finished unbeaten from a tough Group B that had Zambia, Cameroon and Zambia, winning four games and drawing two.
The Franco-German coach was initially given a two-year contract when he was first appointed which will expire immediately after the World Cup.
This new contract will stretch his stay as Super Eagles boss to 2020.
